SUMMERNATS 32, 2019 ONLINE CAR ENTRIES OPEN IN MARCH!
WHO CAN ENTER THE SUMMERNATS?
Ultimately, the people coming to the Summernats want to see cars that are different.
Summernats is world famous for showing off the cool... the tuff... the elite... the angry... and sometimes the plain crazy street machines that make our event the mecca for modified cars.
Our entrant cars should look and sound different to the family hack, the new car showroom, or most of what you see in the supermarket car park.
We accept cars that are unique although they may have only a few changes, or cars with only a few obvious changes but which are extremely well-detailed.
Generally, entered cars must be obviously modified or customised. That's the basic thing that sets a Summernats entrant apart from the every day machine on the road.
The 'Entry Vehicle Guide' is all the information you need to enter a car at Summernats and will ensure that entrants enjoy the event safely and have a great time. It is vital that you read and understand the guide fully.
If you're still unsure after reading the 'Vehicle Entry Guide', just call us and we'll give you some advice.
At the Summernats we want to encourage and inspire people to enter their cars – we're not an exclusive club, but we don't take just any old banger.
You can be confident that cars with plenty of extras, especially obvious ones, will be accepted. If you haven't got a lot done, make sure your car is super clean inside and underneath (a coat of black paint underneath sometimes makes a big difference).
The more information you put on your Entry Form, the easier it will be for you and us.
Entrants under the age of 18 years, must have a parent or guardians consent to participate by signing the Summernats participant release form on their behalf.

WHAT IF MY CAR IS NOT READY?
If your car is not ready to come to Summernats you have a couple of options available to you.
If the original car you pre-entered is not ready you can...
- Bring another car and do a 'Change of Vehicle' at scrutineering, provided the vehicle meets the minimum requirements to be an entrant vehicle. See the 'Entry Vehicle Guide' for requirements and if unsure contact the Summernats Office on 02 6241 8111.
- Use your Entrant Pass as a 'Non- Participating Entrant', where the Entrant Pass holder can use their Entrant pass for general admission to attend the event without a car and will still receive the entrant goodie bag, T-Shirt, Plate and the car stickers will be sent to the Entrant after the event.
NOTE: CAR ENTRIES CAN NO LONGER BE TRANSFERRED OR GIVEN TO ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL FOR THE PURPOSE OF USE AS A PARTICIPATING ENTRANT.
Scrutineering is the registration process that occurs when you arrive at Summernats with your Entered Vehicle. It is your first 'port of call' and is where your entrant vehicle will be checked for safety and entry worthiness. Final acceptance of your vehicle into Summernats as an Entrant vehicle will be made at Scrutineering and will be based on the vehicle meeting the essential minimum requirements outlined in the 'Vehicle Entry Guide'.
Entrants MUST arrive at their designated location at their scheduled time slot - not before.
JUDGING AT SUMMERNATS
Entering a car in the Summernats does not mean it has to be judged. It is entirely up to you.
Summernats has many competitions in place to highlight excellence in workmanship, driving skill, creativity, outrageous imagination, beauty or just hard work.
Three primary groups that identify cars that are to be judged at Summernats are Elite, Street and Tuff Street. Entrants must be aware that they can only enter ONE of the groups.
All vehicles wishing to be judged must initially be presented at the Judging Pavilion.
Download the Judging Information booklet for further information.
Starts at Exhibition Park, travel along Northbourne Avenue and London Circuit and back to Exhibition Park.
All drivers MUST attend driving briefing Thursday morning.
NO DANGEROUS OR ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR WILL BE TOLERATED
