Shannons Citycruise

The Shannons Citycruise will take to Northbourne Ave at midday on Thursday January 3rd 2011 to launch the 26th Street Machine Summernats, proudly supported by Rare Spares.

Everyone agrees that last year’s Citycruise was a roaring success, as we knew it would be. After all, who could resist the temptation to check out Australia’s best street machines rolling through the nation’s capital?

The cars were awesome, and more than 20,000 Canberrans lined Northbourne Ave to kick off the Nats Chrome Jubilee. 

So, after some careful negotiating with ACT Police and other state bodies, the Shannons Citycruise is even better to help launch Summernats 26.

Please remember that the entire route is an alcohol free zone, and viewing is only permitted on the pedestrian pavements. Viewing on the median strip is prohibited.
