THIS IS SUMMERNATS!

Entries have been open for less than a week but we've already smashed through the 300 mark as they continue to flood in for the biggest horsepower party in the land! Read on to meet some of the tough street machines that are making the trek to Canberra, January 4-7, 2018!

PLUS! Big news for burnout competitors, and the latest edition of our favourite magazine title!

ENTRANT #1

Cessnock local John Noyes had the time of his life at Summernats 30, cruising with his buddies and even taking Farmtruck for a ride. No surprise then that he made sure he was first in line to enter his blown HQ sedan Summernats 31.

"I loved the Nats this year and had an awesome time with some mates. The car was great the whole time and I even drove it the 400kms home from Canberra."

ENTRANT #100

Another real steel blast straight out of 1973 is Mat Macdonald's all-American Dodge Challenger. Mat told us he'd been to Summernats 15, 25 and 30, and thought it was about to time to enter a car of his own and join in the fun.

"I want to have a go at some of the driving events and cruise the Challenger with all the other cool cars at Summernats."

ENTRANT #200

Darren Shelton is bringing his slick green wagon to Summernats 31 to once again cruise Canberra in style. Packing a tunnel-rammed small block, a clean set of Weld wheels and Venetians to boot, the HG is just about the perfect vehicle to cruise the nation's capital in style.

ENTRANT #300

Anthony 'Pagey' Page should already be familiar to fans of tyre destruction, having taken the top gong in the Summernats 30 Burnout Championship and earning his spot in the Burnout Masters competition next year. Pagey and his tough-as-nails small block HZ will be making the long trip east for their shot at the big leagues, January 4-7, 2018.

SUIT UP AT SUMMERNATS

In the interests of continuing to improve the safety for all Summernats participants, commencing from Summernats 31 all burnout competitors and their passengers are required to wear a fire suit. This applies to both Burnout Championships and Burnout Masters competitors, regardless of fuel or induction type.

Entrants and passengers are free to bring their own fire suit or borrow one of the Summernats fire suits on the day, free of charge. Summernats has tripled the number of fire suits available for entrants and their passengers to use. Please contact the office by email if you have any safety related questions.
